I have had a random misfire in Crusty since I “tuned” it up. EEC IV and I had it narrowed down to Cylinder 8.
Spark plugs shouldn’t look like that.
Lesson here? You can actually fix something till it’s broken.

That plug is bullshit. Now you’ll have to take it in to the shop just for a plug swap. Maybe even take of the bloody head. Damn you Ford. First the nylon timing gear, then the timing belt bathed in engine oil, now this. STHAAAAAP

When you bought the plugs I’d guess they were probably blister packed on cardboard? Those are more likely to have issues than boxed ones. They are usually seconds from manufacturer. If it was a boxed first quality plug then they were probably dropped.
